Meet Ivette. She is going to be holding this class Monthly of the 3rd Sunday of each month starting in April. This month is will be held on the 4th Sunday. And yes her class will begin before we open at 10. We wanted to make sure it was quiet for you yoga class.
Ivette will be leading this is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures or asanas that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. Using yin yoga helps in working to release/stretch these connective tissues gently.
Ivette will be adding sound healing with sing bowls, shruti box, native American flutes, gongs, and a beautiful ngoni; which makes this practice even more restorative, calming and soothing.
This is an ALL level Practice!
