Are you fascinated with Celtic knots? Here is a little info on what we will be making in this class. Knot work is an ancient form of sympathetic magic, and is still used today.
The triskele represents the spiral of life and was found in the Newgrange archaeological site in the Boyne valley, Ireland. This site dates back 5200 years.
The Silver triple Celtic spiral, is an ancient symbol of Celtic beliefs, and was used consistently in Celtic art for over 3000 years. It represents the three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world.
Lara Schneider of Laras Tangled Web, who also teaches our Basic Wire Wrapping Class, Tree of Life Pendant Class and our How to Make a Dreamcatcher Class, is bringing you this new class. Yes, she is also Irish 😉
Lara is going to show you how to do wire wrapping in a Celtic style. These are base projects, meaning they’ll be plain, leaving you to accentuate as you see fit. She will be teaching you 3 beautiful Celtic Knots.
